Who am I?

I live in Welland and am familiar with the local area as I grew up here and still have strong
family & friendship ties
Previously I was a Primary School teacher for 23 years before setting up Pause for Claws
I am a reliable, organised and trustworthy person who loves animals, who owns a cat and dog 

What services do I offer?

I offer a drop-in service which would typically include feeding & watering your pet, as well as spending time keeping your pet company
I can take your dog for a walk

I offer an overnight house & pet sitting service which includes a morning walk (if you have a dog)

What are my prices?

Weekday Pricing

30 minute house visit = £10 (within 8 miles from Welland)

1 hour house visit or dog walk = £15 (one dog)

1 hour dog walk involving two dogs from the same house = £18

2 hour house visit = £28 (this can include a 1 hour walk for 1 dog)

3 hour house visit = £40 (this can include a 1 hour walk for 1 dog)

Overnight house visit (Monday > Thursday from 5pm to 10am) = £60

Puppy or Kitten house visits (2 visits per day, 15 minutes per visit) = £12.50

Additional mileage above the 8 mile limit will be charged at 50p per mile

Weekend Pricing

1 hour house visit or dog walk = £20 (one dog)

1 hour dog walk involving two dogs from the same house = £23

2 hour house visit = £38 (this can include a 1 hour walk for 1 dog)

3 hour house visit = £50 (this can include a 1 hour walk for 1 dog)

Puppy or Kitten house visits (2 visits per day, 15 minutes per visit) = £12.50

Overnight house visit (Friday > Sunday from 5pm to 10am) = £75

Additional mileage above the 8 mile limit will be charged at 50p per mile

Am I insured?

Yes – I have Public Liability insurance

What are my Terms & Conditions?

1) Payment via bank transfer paid 48 hours before arrival
2) Your own food & equipment will be used
3) A minimum of 24 hours must be given for any cancellations, otherwise you will be charged the full amount
4) A disclaimer must be completed before arrival.  This will highlight any specific requirements which your pet may have, e.g. medical care / specific dietary needs, behavioural needs
